Join us for a special double-header garden tour!

Our first stop is a work-in-progress transformation. Since moving in during early summer 2024, Ed has been busy replacing invasive plants and patchy lawn with the beginnings of a native plant and food garden — with a sweet spot for edible native plants. Think bee balm, anise hyssop, milkweed with plans for even more natives through winter sowing. It’s a great example of how starting with just one perennial can set the stage for something beautiful and beneficial to birds, pollinators, and people.

Next, we’ll explore a curated meadow — a thoughtful blend of native grasses and wildflowers designed to provide year-round interest and rich wildlife habitat.

After our tours, we’ll keep the conversations going with an informal lunch at local restaurants, where you can connect with fellow Wild Ones members and share ideas.
