Garden Tour: A City Oasis for Pollinators & People
Public Welcome Registration Required Free Event Home/Private Garden Tour
Join us for a tour of a beautifully curated city garden that has been thoughtfully transitioned to native plants over the past seven years. Spanning roughly 4,000 square feet, this garden is now home to 60–70% native plants, with every corner shaped by a deep respect for wildlife, design, and sustainable choices.
Inspired by a desire to support local ecosystems, the homeowner has created a vibrant space filled with milkweed, bee balm, cup plant, wild ginger, and even native prickly pear cactus. There’s also a small vegetable patch, container gardens, a rain garden, a small pond and a water bowl.
Sourced from local native plant sales, nurseries, and seed swaps, this garden is a hands-on labor of love—and a great example of how an urban yard can support biodiversity while looking beautiful.
Come explore, get inspired, and gather ideas for your own native garden transformation!
The address will be emailed the day before the event.
