Join Wild Ones Western Pennsylvania for a delightful day of garden inspiration and native plant exploration! We’ll begin with a tour of the beautiful gardens at the historic McMullen House Bed & Breakfast, hosted by ecologist and proprietor Robert Coxe. Enjoy the charm of thoughtfully designed spaces including a Butterfly Garden, a Monet Garden inspired by the artist’s famous Giverny retreat, a Patio Garden, and a tranquil Woodland Garden.
After soaking up ideas for your own native-friendly garden, we’ll head down the road for a scenic wildflower hike in Oil Creek State Park. Along the way, Robert will help us identify blooming native species and share insights into their ecological roles.
What to bring: Water bottle, hiking shoes and a camera.
This event will take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
Please RSVP directly to Robert if you are interested in attending this garden tour and wildflower hike.
